We have so much that fights for our energy and focus each day.
So many people go to bed each day with goals that they don’t move forward on.
The reason they do not move forward is that they stack.
To avoid the Stack, you first have to understand what it is.
The Stack is the biggest reason people are not able to lose weight, look and or feel the way that they want.
There are two types of stacks people do that prevent them from accomplishing what is important to them.
I am going to list them out in order.
MOST OF US DO BOTH OF EACH DAY
STACK 1: UNABLE TO PRIORITIZE
We are all blessed with twenty-four hours each day.
How we use them determines how much progress we make.
Our ability to prioritize is the most crucial skill we can learn.
The way we prioritize is by identifying WHY we want to move the needle on something we deem necessary.
Your WHY is crucial!
It will be the determining factor that pulls you out of bed each day.
For some of you, it could be your family.
Alternatively, Maybe it’s for your future self.
Either way, you have to identify this!
Most people do not take the time to figure out why they want something and not taking that time is the biggest reason they never go after it.
STACK 2: UNABLE TO OWN THE MOMENT
Sometimes we bring the wrong thought process to the right moment.
This could be a reason why we do not take action.
We can get to bogged down by the details of a situation, that we never take action because we are overwhelmed.
We can have our heads too high in the clouds thinking that if we wish for our goal enough, magic will happen.
When you find yourself in either one of these scenarios, usually the opposite is what you need pending you find yourself not taking action.
Let’s say you have the best intentions to get up in the morning to get to the gym.
You set your alarm for 5 am.
You wake up and start thinking about everything detail you need to do today, tomorrow or next week.
At that moment you have a choice to make.
Do you roll over, hit the alarm and go back to bed? MOST DO!
Do you roll over, put your feet on the ground, get some water and connect to the fact that you are getting up to work on yourself because you need this to be the best parent, spouse, sibling, son or daughter you can be?
THE TWO THINGS YOU CAN DO TO MAKE SURE YOU WIN
1. KEEP IT SIMPLE: Do not complicate things. To get up and go to the gym, you need workout clothes and the keys to your car. Everything else is just noise.
2. FOCUS ON ONE THING: All you have to do is WIN/OWN THE MOMENT. You do not need to win 5 minutes from now, recap yesterday. You need to bring the most significant and most badass version of yourself to this moment.
That is all that is required of you.
